Default How much do you do in the lowest limits?

I play NL$25 $0.25/$0.50 Hold'em. That's the lowest NL stakes on my website...
I'm a relativly new player (Two months)
Never the less $76 up so far in 2005 (playing 6 sessions)... (Thank you flopturnriver-guys...)

When I read posts here I get the impression that a lot of you play the even lower NL stakes, 0,05/0,10 and so on. I guess there have to be ALOT of fishy players at these stakes, but on the other hand you win less when you win!?

Which stakes are the most profitable?
Can I make more by playing lower stakes on another website?
And if that's the case... Which websites feature these stakes?
I love the feel of Hold'em control...

does anybody mind posting what they are earning in BB/100 at any given limit ? I'm mostly playing 5c/10c and 10c/25c plus some $5 SNG's (6 / 10 player)

i'm doing the best at 25c overall but i've only played 1300 hands or so. The sng's went well for a bit but now after playing 25 of them I'm up $5 only ...

    (this is all on UB)

You should play at stakes (try not to say "limits" -- it conveys the wrong thing) that are appropriate for your bankroll, provided you can beat the game at that level.

If you only have $100 to your name, .25/.50 is not advisable. If you have $1,000 to your name but suck at poker, .25/.50 is still not advisable.

You want 300 big bets usually. This is an LHE rule, but more or less applies to NL. $150 is the minimum for a .25/.50 game, even if you can beat it.

I don't know that any stakes are inherently more profitable than other stakes. To put it another way, $1,000/$2,000 is probably the most profitable, because if you're playing at that level then you're Amazing as Hell at poker. The stakes you play are determined by your BR and your skill level.

i've been playing at the .01/.02 level on stars. in my first 1k hands, i had 27BB/100. i'm currently at 10 BB/100 (I made a few bad bad calls.)
yes, a whopping 40 cents per hundred hands. that's only over about 2k hands, so i'll probably get that back up to about 20 BB/100 after another 2k hands.

I've dabbled in the .05/.10 limit, and it seems beatable, but i don't think i'll be anywhere near 25BB/100.

six sessions is *nothing*. it takes 30 thousand hands to tell (with a high degree of confidence) if you are winning the game.

if your bankroll supports you current level, go for it man, make some bucks. But, it can be tough to tell if you are good or lucky without a bunch more time playing.

Basically the math works out as when you move up in the stakes, the pots double in size. Assuming your BB/100 doesn't get cut in half or worse when you move up a limit, you should play at the highest stakes your bankroll allows.

Lets say you're 'rilla and play at the 10K/20k stakes. At the 5k/10k stakes he can run the tables, making about 20BB/100, but at the 10k stakes he makes 10BB/100. He's making the same profit at both, but problably learning more at the higher limits.

For us normal players, if we make 7BB/100 at our lower limits and 4BB/100 at higher, it's more profitable and better experience to move up limits.

i've thought about this a few times. From my somewhat limited experience (maybe 5-10k hands at .5/.10, not exactly sure, and maybe 1kish at .25/.50) you definently make money faster at the higher limit. just my opinion.
