Default How to squeeze money out of rocks? Alternative plays?

I currently play my cash games on Titan usually at times when the total number of players is approx 2,000. Even at the $20NL FR most of the regulars there are very tight/weak. I play TAG but I have dissected my game a bit since I deposited on Titan and it seems that I just not get paid off well enough with my good hands. I usually always raise my strong hands But also limp SC, suited one-gapper’s, low PP’s etc in position. I c/bet most of the time when I was the original raiser if I hit the board or not (unless I’m OOP in a multi-way pot). I have even opened my range considerably to find a niche.

Most of the regular posters do not advocate slow playing their good hands and I am not a fan of it either. However, the problem I found is that the majority of the hands I’m involved in are playing out like “raise pre-flop, c/bet flop, take down pot”. I just can’t seem to get any callers with my good hands!? It has even come so far that when I raise PF that most of the regulars now willingly give up position and their blinds. I’m not a shark and I sometimes call river bets with rags or even bluff and show them that I am capable to play with any two cards. My attention to steal blinds when first in pot is over 40% on this website.

I am even contemplating saying good-bye to their Bonus and go to Party Poker where you always have a sufficient amount of people playing even when I’m online. I’m not properly rolled for $50NL and I usually only find 2 tables of $20NL going at the same time which makes it hard to clear their Bonus.

What other tips & tricks could you give me to squeeze some money out of a rock and get my good cards paid against tight-passive players?

If the table you're playing at is weak/tight, then start raising in late position all the hands you normally limp with, and continue to c-bet every flop. Either you'll keep taking blinds + a bit every round, or your opponents will recognize this and be willing to play back at you a bit, so you can then make money with your big hands. You will also have the advantage of position in most hands you play, and will be able to use this to take pots with not so strong holdings.

On a really weak/tight table I'm willing to raise any 2 cards from the button with one or two callers and c-bet any flop if first to bet. Often you don't see a flop, and you only need to take down about half the flops to turn a profit. Even if this strategy is about break even it does wonders for your image. As soon as I find I'm being played back at too much or my c-bets are being called too often it becomes unprofitable and I'll stop it.

On titan everyone is weak/tight. You make money there by stealing pots and raising a lot preflop.

Don't try this at looser sites though.

I imagine you can make a buy in fairly fast just by raising and continuing.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Yep. My winrates at prima and titan are similar, even though I have to play quite a different game at both.
