Default I get up early and some times

there is only one table of 4nl on merge with 10 people waiting... I am still a newb...I was wondering if I should try the 10nl table while I am waiting?? Is this a horrible idea? I don't mind losing money If I can learn something.. but would I just learn that i shouldn't be playing 10nl yet lol

Just start games at 5NL yourself, it should take a very short time to start a game.

When do you suggest taking a shot? After going busto a few weeks back...I have taken $75 up $100. At $200 can I comfortably take a shot at 10nl?

In one thread you're asking for help in getting better at poker, now you're asking should you step up to 10nl to cure boredom? A resounding no is the short answer to that, play 10nl when you are comfortably winning at 5nl and you're rolled enough.

You can take a shot any time if you set aside the money to do so. For example, with your $100 roll, let's say you decide to allocate the next $10 you win. So, when you reach $110, you can take $10 and use it for a shot at NL10. If you lose it, you still have your $100.

Note that this applies to taking one shot once in a while. You can vary it somewhat; e.g. save up $20 so you have 2 x $10 buyins. But to play regularly at the new level, you should be fully rolled. 20 buyins is often suggested as a guideline. I lean toward 30 so that you have more room to absorb a bad run before you're forced to drop back down.

If there are 10 people waiting for one table and you start a table it will fill up quickly.

You will learn more starting tables at 4NL than you will playing under rolled at 10NL.

Just set aside $80 of your $100 roll, play 2 tables of 80BB 50NL. Justification? It's only one shot once in a while.

idk how easily you could actually start a table. sure there's like 10 people on that one waitlist, but they may just all be regs that won't play with you anyway. if you can start tables and get games with fish, that's what you should do. otherwise, try not to get up so early i guess

at least try to start a table. Don't take shots at 10nl on a $100 roll

if you had a bit more mental control i'd say it's fine

but given your bc posts i'd say it's prolly a horrific idea.
