I need help.

This is going to be a really long post so bear with it. Have logged about 9500 hands into poker tracker, and below are my stats. I am in the middle of the most massive downswing I have experienced which cut my bb/100 in half (it was about 10).

I need expert help here. I know there are some really tragic leaks in my game that I just am not seeing.

Other noticeable issues:

AA is a loser (-0.55bb/hand) for me. This disgusts me. I have GOT to do something about this.

KK isn't losing but its only +0.63, which is kinda disgusting too.

Please help me here guys. I know I can do better than this. In the post that follows I will post ten or fifteen of my biggest pots lost, and hopefully get a discussion and criticism going about how the hands played out.

Looking back, this hand is like two retarded kids in a fist fight. Villain was ultradumb to call a huge preflop raise with J4 of diamonds. Hero was a fool who couldn't realize that Villain flopped the flush. Any other comments?

1) Just call the river. You only have one pair, calm down.

2) Raise the turn or call him down. Deffinitly don't raise the river. There's something suspicious going on and there you are trying to get everything in the pot without thinking. See response 1.

3) This is fine, I think you'll see a draw here more times then a made flush.

4) Check it down.

5) Loads of the time you're gonna be shown A3 and other shit here. Def. not a push situation.

6) I'm kinda inclined to push the flop. This one ain't too bad considering how how little space you have to manoever postflop at 25nl.

7) OK but I think that generally you're turn bets are too big. This style is going to lead to some very high variance. You're not leaving yourself any room to get away from a set or whatever.

8) Raise flop, fold to a push. Other then that its fine.

9) Raise turn. When the straight hits I suppose getting it in isn't too bad.

There's a general trend here alright. You're being way too aggressive with your big overpairs.

You're overplaying your big pairs. Just because you're dealt AA preflop doesn't mean you're going to stack someone.

Slow down, put people on a hand, and go from there

Anyone see any peculiarities in my stats?

Not really. Your vp$ip and pfr aren't bad. You need some work on your postflop play from what I've seen (not from stats). Or maybe you're just going too nuts with your big pairs

One recommendation I do have is to raise preflop a standard raise. By this I mean raise all your big hands (AA, KK, AK, QQ, AQ etc) the same amount. Personally, I do $1.50 or $2 (preferably $2) at the Party 25NL tables. I slow down and raise $1.50 if everyone folds everytime to my raise. I think you're getting too many callers preflop on your big hands. I find that this trick masks your hand strength as well as isolates for postflop play. And as the other FTRs have already said, don't overplay your big pairs. Yes an overpair is strong, but easily beatable. Play strong on the flop and go easy from then on (of course, play on reads).

Yup thats what I wanted to write last night but I didn't have time. You play your hands like AA is invincible and a lisence to stack someone. When you go to a showdown the other guys hand matters just as much as yours.

The problem is that you don't really give the villian an oppertunity to tell you you're beat. A lot of the time a half pot bet on the turn will get raised by a set and you can drop it. I know its not quite that simple to drop AA because other things will raise you too but at least give yourself some breathing room.
