Default Keeping records of your hands...

Can anyone give me some good info or show me some good articles talking about why it is good to keep records of your hands and the best way to do it? I hear over timje these records can be very useful. Do you basically write how you lost, with what hand, to what hand? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks a lot.[/u]

One of the benefits of Poker Tracker, besides giving info on your opponents, is to keep a record of all the hands you play, and how much you net with each starting hand. I hardly think writing down each hand you play will be possible let alone worth it if you can't sort the hands by starting hands.

I'll make the point twice here because it really does matter. As you play more you see more situations etc. Poker tracker allows you to see how you go wrong in many situations becasue of the cards you play eg if limping AA is getting you burnt then poker tracker tells you our getting burnt! You just have to figure out why!

Bullets, we all pay for Pokertracker - it's not some faceless corporation, it's a small operation where its creators are extremely involved with its customers. $55 buys you both the product, unlimited upgrades, support and a community dedicated to making the program work as well as possible for you.

Of course, maybe you have lost so much money playing poker that you can't afford it. In which case, you need it more than ever

I love how people get all self-righteous about certain pieces of software and then spend all day downloading free music off limewire.

"But I dont download music! I buy every CD and piece of software I own from the store!"

Lyin assholes! Don't act like you've never tried to get something for free when it was supposed to be paid for, regardless if its computer software, music, or an ice cream cone.

If you want to pay for it in order to get the benefits of the customer support, then do it. I don't think you should waste your time lecturing others on software pirating though... you honestly can't care that much, other than the fact that YOU paid for it, so you want everyone else to as well.

That being said, I bought the software. Lol.

There is a large difference in sticking it to a a multi-billion dollar industry. I dont make money off music. I make money off poker, so I purchased it.
