    Default A little reminder

When playing on BBJ tables and the Jackpot is in the $400K's, there is no such thing as FE.

When guys are playing hands like K7s to hit a Jackpot, when the FD comes on the river, they always have it. Do not assume anything else.

You have no implied odds, if the FD does not flop, they will fold.

This is all very exploitable and profitable, if you don't overplay overpairs for huge losses.

    Just a reminder.

Played my first BBJ table last week. Just a few hands, but great post. My site's structure is going to require me to play some BBJ soon as I move up levels, so tips like this are perfect. Thanks

I am playing on Party now and sitting at a BBJ table has never crossed my mind.

What sort of level does the jackpot need reach for the tables to become generally profitable enough to afford the extra rake?

I'm glad PokerStars doesn't have a BBJ for a lot of reasons.

About once per never. The only way BBJ tables are profitable is if the fishiness level there is high enough that you can outearn the extra rake. Even though Miffed might laugh at me for saying this, the odds against ever being at a table where the BBJ hits are astronomically bad, and you're not likely to have it happen in your poker lifetime (much less TWICE )

By the way, various websites have tons of info on bonuses and playing BBJ profitably, with charts and odds. You can google it, if interested.

bonuswhores used to keep up with it, but I don't know if they still do because I'm too lazy to look

I looked earlier today, when I posted, but I couldn't find the chart they used have up about when to play and what stakes.
