the beginning of the learning curve can be pretty steep; in pretty much anything we try to learn the improvements are huge at the beginning (ok, so surfing involves a very early plateau and takes ages for even remote competence, exception proves the rule?). No reason why you couldn't go from not knowing what a flush is to being able to beat 10nl inside a month if you have potential. Would most coaches would argue this is true? dunno, i' m not a coach, but probably.
Yeah I think I have learned alot thanks to this forum... I am definitely not limping 65 UTG anymore lol. Generally my range UTG is now 99+ AJ+ and I am usually always raising not limping. I have started to isolate the fish more often in pos and this has really helped me. In later positions I am opening a little wider lately to get more exp. postflop. I have been winning this month at about 8bb per hundred and my confidence is soaring (which could be a bad thing). When I sit at tables now I am more focused on the player types than I have ever been before. I think I am ready to move up... but I am going to set a strict 4 BI rule for me to drop back down. We'll see what happens... hopefully I don't look back. Thanks again to everyone who has helped me.
