Default Moving up to 5NL Stats Included

I made enough money in 2NL to move up. I didn't play enough hands but I ran hot enough to earn $50, giving me a total bankroll of $150+.

The plan is starting later today I will exclusively play 5NL on Poker Stars (6 tables FR).

My current BR gives me 30 Buy ins at 5NL, once I make $100. I will move up to 10NL.

I am giving myself 8 Buyins at $5NL, thus if my bankroll dips under 110, I will grind back up in 2NL, rinse repeat as often as needed it.

Without further ado, stats: All your comments are appreciated.

Everything looks good to me. Good luck with the move up.

The only thing I would add is to move up to $10NL when you make $150 for $300 total and drop down to $5NL if you hit $200. I always recommend at least 30 total buy-ins and sometimes more as you get into the higher stakes. In my opinion, the piece of mind it gives you plus the opportunity to lose enough buy-ins to take a full shot is invaluable.

    Good luck.

you have the same exact preflop weaknesses as everyone else who posts micro stats in the BC. search some of those to see some specific discussion.

the cliff notes will be stop open limping and widen your range in LP. an ATS of 18 at micro FR is SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER low.

your goal should be to double your PFR, though it will take time.

Generally I only open limp 22-1010. But I will work on that.

as you move up in stakes open limping will become less profitable so you are for sure best off by eliminating it from your game as early as possible then start opening up more on the button and cutoff.

So far over a small sample the play has been similar but there seems to be less crazy crazy stupid plays. Still a lot of crazy just not as crazy.

GLGL I don't play much FR and certainly didn't at 2nl or 5nl. It seems a different world.

So far I had a rough start. The good news:
    VP: 11
PFR: 7.8 (So it is climbing, I will work on getting it higher)

Less cold calling pre flop. I have nearly got rid 22-55 UTG-UTG+2.

My results have been less than stellar cause I miss read weakness. A lot of times small flop bets mean (trips or made hands and they are trying to keep everyone in). I see it as weakness re raise and then pound away to the felt.

Also, my 3-bet% climbed from 3% to 4.6 and im folding less to 3 bets.... I know this is small sample size. But this limit is showing me sooooooooooo many of my leaks. I am happy to stay here.

Also, it is taking me a little while to adjust to 9 tables.

Don't open limp, tighten up a little in EP, loosen up a lot in LP, good luck.

Also change the 3-bet and fold to 3-bet stats on your tracker to 3-bet preflop and fold to 3-bet preflop. The regular 3-bet stats track 3-bets for all streets combined.
