i wouldnt classify you as a "rock," per se. you are a bit too aggressive post flop to be a rock by my standards. you are more Tight-Passive-Aggressive, to me. if i'm you, i dont change much...but i do steal more when folded to...just to buy some more action from those who only look at PT #'s.
and at low stakes, thats almost (in some cases more) as effective as TAG. TPA's give me a lot of trouble, and i tend to avoid confrontation when possible. however, i will get an entire stack when i hit a monster against one...and let him bleed himself off.
anyway, when i have limpers in front of me...
i try to "hide" behind them, as much as possible!! suited conns, small pp's, gappers, etc. any marginal holding, and i will jump into a pot very quickly, looking for a huge flop.
hands i would open-raise with, like AJ, TT, AXs, i now limp behind, too. when you face 2 limpers oop, and you have AJo...its not so good anymore, to me. if the preflop betting stays at limping, i feel confident my AJ is top kicker, but i dont like raising and getting called by small pairs, etc.
with said limpers, my raising range tightens a bit. i stick to premiums AQ+, JJ+, maybe KQ/KJ, but not much more. kind of in between my open-raise range, and my RR range.
however, i will raise AJs+, and possibly KQs/KJs...on rare occasion QTs/QJs. those latter suggestions suck, and are only for the intent of "mixing it up." thats why i only raise the soooted hands in that range...i dont want to do it too often.
hope that helps.
