New gaming restrictions in UK?

Hi, I've been trying to open a new account with cake poker, (finished with littlewoods?pacific, takes to long to withdraw) and I keep getting a message saying new gaming restrictions in UK mean they can't offer me a rakeback deal, tried powerpoker, same thing. Tried several rakeback sites and they all said same thing. Can anyone shedany light?

what does rb have with UK? u can't open new account or u can but can't get rb?

I've come across that message before. Not aware of any gambling restrictions in particular, but would also be interested in any shed light...

I think it maye be something to do with the goverment lifting some sort of exemption. ill look for a link..
