Hello,

I have been reading FTR for a few weeks now and thought it was about time to register. I've been really enjoying the content and the advice and its definietly helped me become a better player tho I'm still pretty fishy
I'm a 29 year old bankruptcy attorney from Long Beach who spends too much time on here when I should be working...

Last night I played in a $5+.5 SnG at Pokerroom and had the wildest thing happen. I don't know how to get the hand history from there or I'd get and post (maybe one of you knows, I couldn't figure it out).. but basically early in the tourny I picked up pocket Kings in LP, bet pretty heavy and got one caller, the flop came KKJ which blew me away as it was my first time having quads online period. Well I know they say not to slowplay hands in SnG but it was a very tight table still so I checked to the river in hopes someone would make a hand, sure enough I got a big bet from the remaining player, I came back all-in, and after a long pause he called... river had made his straight, so I got paid big.

That was cool enough, but not 15 mins later I got pocket 2s in LP. I limped in hoping to hit a set or get out, when the flop came 225! I don't know what the odds are of flopping quads twice in one game but they must be pretty remote...well I slow played this as well and once again got an all in at the river and busted the guy out!

I don't know if thats my good luck for a lifetime, but needless to say I finished ITM... went heads-up against the chip leader with him at 2:1 and eventually lost and finished 2nd but... wow, still can't get over those hands

anyway just wanted to share and say hello and thanks for all the great content

Rob
