    2nd one is a snap.

1st, not sure. Depends how 10NL is playing at the moment since you have no reads. Check your average player's 4betting range at 10NL in your database and work out the EV from there.

odd cos he just sat down and posted, then raised his post and put in a huge 4 bet. its an unusual situation. average people that post are fish. who knows what an average fish 4 bets. just wondered what you more experienced folks would do in this spot.

Hand 1: Going all in with QQ at 10nl FR is basically player dependent in my experience. Loads of times I would never have even 3bet cos the other person's c-range is just so tight, so I reckon that was a mistake.

Hand 2: You need about 38% to breakeven so assuming you're facing TT+,AKs this is a snap call. Our EV, assuming this range is about right is basically aroudn $1.22 so this is fairly straightforward.

Flat call, for the reason I outlined for hand 1 above.

PS, how can he be a whale with $4? You do know a whale is a fish with a large stack/table bankroll right? #justsayinglol

no i did not. I thought a whale was just a big fish, he limps or calls every hand even AA seen it happen.

If I call, its cuz I want to exploit the fish with my cool relative position. I think I usually raise though. Utg sounds card dead, idk. Surely he's raising a bunch of hands we beat and btn might call a 3bet anyway.

H1 - Villein is likely bad given buy in size + posting BB so shove, can't see any merit to calling with stacks as they are.

H2 - Try some different ranges with stove and you'll see this is an easy call, 3bet/folding QQ vs a 17/17 50BB aggro isn't a good idea.

H3 - Squeeze to $2 to iso the whales and hoover up all the dead money, calling seems bad as strong overpairs don't do well 4 way out of position. If UTG jams or 4bets I think folding is possible.

Didn't see the post from hand 1, this makes it a shove for me.

Hand 3, without reading any responses this seems like a 3bet to 1.80-1.90. I'm not flatting a decent made hand multiway OOP

hand 1 is tough b/c I dont see a lot of 4bets with JJ or AQ....but I doubt I would fold and calling seems gross. I prob shove

hand 2 is a joyous call

hand 3 I'm 3betting to 1.60-1.80. Calling oop is going to be tough. I would fold to any 4bet by UTG imo. Get the BTN in the hand hopefully and shove the flop

Just thinking out loud here: can we get away with 3b'ing even less? Like 1.40? Do we really mind if UTG set mines us? Not like we're ever paying him off.

i'm jamming hand 1 and 2 relatively comfortably. hand 3 i'm less sure about, but i squeeze it up to something around $2 so we can get value/isolate vs the fish. UTG will probably fold more than you may think based on his stats. also, i'm leaning towards folding fold if UTG jams because a player like this probably doesn't even jam AK.

^ this is assuming you are at a FR table that isn't full. and your opponents are FR mindsetted players

It's a very easy fold to a 4b from UTG.
