stoploss help - instead of looking at a specific $ amount, decide on a buy-in amount. Depending on how many buy-ins and how many tables you play, this could be very easy or not helpful at all.
For example, I play with a 3 buy-in stop loss and play 2 or 3 tables. If I bust on a table, I just count "1" out loud to myself. If I get to saying "3", that's it for the session. If I leave a table with 2 buyins or more, I reduce any count I have by 1 and buyin regular at another table - I don't bother with going "+1" or anything if you're at zero, just leave it be.
This may be against the spirit of this challenge, but most of us honestly play worse after we've lost a significant amount in one sitting, especially if it's getting felted several times in a row.
I think this is better than using a specific $ amount because I'm actually going to start tilting after getting felted AGAIN, rather than simply losing that extra 4bbs that just happened to put me under a specific $ amount.
As far as adding to your stack when you're low, I do that now and then and as long as it's a small amount, I don't count it. If I'm under 1/2 I count it as "1".
I realize this is highly unscientific and inexact. I guess it's sort of straddling the fence on traditional thinking and total br disregard.
