I'm having a hard time trying to understand your post. If you are limping the above range (KJ, Ax and smallish pp's) from CO and button and still stealing 45% you are playing too laggy. Those are the hands where you want to "steal" with a raise from late postion because you have position and a vulnerable hand.
There is a lot of sage advice out there that would suggest that you absolutley NEVER limp from any position ever. Whether you choose to play with AA or "air" you should raise.
The only time you should limp along is if you have a few opponents who will not fold their junk ever and completly ignore every raise which is unusual. The other time you limp from late is when you have a couple limpers in front ot you and want to play a family pot with your suited connectors and baby pairs.
In an unopend pot always raise late. If you want to be trickey in an unopened pot and take a risk you should limp your monster hands like AA, KK from CO and button position and hope one of the blinds plays back or flops something to keep him interested. This play works best against a really aggressive player in the blinds.
