Hey Beginner,
PartyPoker is our favorite cardroom, and this is one of the reasons why. Cashing in and out is very simple. This is how I do it:
I have an ATM card for one of my checking accounts which I use for deposits. I use the ATM card as a credit card to make these deposits, so I select Visa. I normally deposit $50 or $100, unless I have a chance at cashing in on some bonus money (which you have the opportunity to do), in which case I deposit the max to take advantage of that bonus ($500). There is no charge for these deposits.
Now, to withdraw, I use IGM-Pay which Xianti also posted. IGM-Pay performs a direct deposit from PartyPoker to my same checking account (from which I used my ATM). IGM-Pay will ask for your routing/account number, and then perform a couple of deposits that are under $1. After a couple of days, you can then verify those amounts and confirm to IGM-Pay that the deposit worked. After that, you can withdraw any time. And IGM-Pay is free of charge.
At Paradise Poker and UltimateBet, I would have to wait weeks for paper checks to come in. PartyPoker is a snap - free of charge and much quicker.
You don't need to open a separate bank account to limit your losses since you are in control of what you deposit into your PartyPoker account. I tend to keep a running balance of about $100 in my PartyPoker account. Whenever I reach $150 or $200, I cash out. You may want to use a separate account for poker just to make it easier to reconcile your cash in's and out's, and to keep track of your profitability, but that's entirely up to you.
Good luck beginner, take it slow, play tight, bet the hands when you are winning, fold the hands when you are losing.
Keep us posted, we should be able to help you.
