Im opedipus bitch, the original balla.
Your raise preflop was too small. You raised 5bb, when there was 4 limpers. This should warrant at least an 8bb raise (4bb + 1bb per limper). It's a little hard to tell how the action would have went had you raise bigger preflop.

Same table after building my stack up to what I bought in for from .61 I got aces again...2 limpers I make it 6x the BB to go, flop comes 47T and I stack off to someone who called me pre with 4Ts.

    so..frustrating.

before I start I am no pro just a noobi as well. so take what i say as a grain of salt. I think your preflop bet was in line. that was probably the right bet, unfortanetly you got way too many callers. the flop bet was correct as well. I think your mistake was on the turn. You should have slowed down the bet here after going in to the flop with 4 people. two pair is definatly a good possibility with a good draw possibility. than the all in call after the flop came out was probably not the best idea either. I know it is hard to let go of a hand like that and it sucks but you have to figure especially after the call on the turn that you was beat. I would have lowered my bets to about 1/3rd pot on the turn but sometimes i have a problem playing too tight. Just My opinion. hope it helps some.

well 5 way your aces are still favourite probably, but you chance to win the hand has dropped dramaticly. Your pfr was definitely not high enough. make it like 3 or 4bb + 1 for every limper.

rest of the hand I dont really like too much (potbet on turn/ shove river is meh especially when there's 4 to a straight. who is calling that you beat?), but your opponent was definitely worse.

What would you do, Papi? Check/fold?
I'd much rather see a 6 here than a 3 or an 8. But I'm shoving this river either way.

    jokah,
For the second time I think:
    Don't post results!!

Use the card converter (link to the left) if at all possible.

difficult without knowing anything about villain, especially agression factor and his preflop calling %. I would have played the hand different starting with preflop. I'd raise bigger preflop to get rid of hands like villain called with. Also postflop I usually try and keep pots small with TP type of hands, depending on opponent off course.

In this case if there is a read that he calls down with 1 pair I might play it the same, but pot/pot/shove is not often the best line against 5 opp. with just an overpair. I dont often get into 5way pots tbh so it's quite difficult to know what I'd do, but probably just bet flop and maybe bet 2/3 on turn and c/f river I think.

Classic example of why you want to raise preflop enough to get headsup and not overvalue your hand postflop even though villain's hand is crazy.

as said don't post results, it influences thinking a lot and perhaps some stats/reads on villain, any info helps

I agree to an extent with pappi the preflop raise could have been bigger, I also think the biggest problem was the line he took. at the level he is playing a multiway flop is not uncommon at all. SO imo the card choices to get people all in is definatly different. I think cards that do better in multiway pots becomes more important. SO i do agree that at that level the raises have to be overly exaggerated to push out the calling stations. again just my opinion. and this is just to get it heads up 3 way at worst. to give aa a better chance
