Playing flopped nut flush
I'm wondering how the rest of you think the best way is to play a flopped nut flush or nut straight.
I can think of three basic ways one might play this:
1. Aggressive, just as if I'm protecting something. My favourite (see hand below). This gets money in from strong hands before any scare cards fall (for opp or myself). But it often folds the other players out. Often works with $25NL calling stations but not sure if it's any good at higher levels.
2. Agressive, but with smaller bets to make it more enticing to call. This is harder to get it all-in though.
3. Slow playing. I don't like this because although it's likely to make a little money from weak hands, it is unlikely to make big money and more likely to be boated on.
How do you play these hands
- in position against one or two players with full stacks?
- out of position against one or two players with full stacks?
