I had been sitting at this table for quite a while so I had over 60 hands on everyone else bar this villain who was new.

I didn't want to raise here if im honest because I wanted someone to give me more money than just some blinds. Is this a stupid way of thinking?

Flop: ($0.06, 3 players) 6 T 4
SB checks, BB bets $0.06, Hero raises to $0.20, fold, BB calls $0.14

He bets so I'm presuming hes connected with the board, however since I have an overpair I'm reasonably confident in my advantage and wish to milk him further. I'm not really putting him on a flush or straight draw here.

the two in my mind doesn't change things much so I am happy to call him if he is going to keep betting into me.

Is a call +ev here?

how can you put him on a proper range when he was in the BB to find out if its +ev he likes his hand now thats all you know. 2 pair, sets, and 35 for a shit straight could easily be in his hand. when he leads out on the turn are you hoping he checks the river. I think its a fold. if he overplays top pair like this it won't be hard for you to take his money in a better spot.

How often do you limp in with pocket Aces? I would say that this is generally a mistake, because you're letting them see a cheap flop, and you aren't building the pot up.

The flop reraise seems reasonable to me. He bet the pot and then called your large reraise, so at this point I would think he has top pair or a draw.

When he raised on the turn, you've really got no idea what he has since he got to see the flop for free. If he's a decent player, I would tend to think he's got me beat. Maybe T2? At this point, I would be kicking myself for not raising the flop. Push/Fold, in my opinion. With absolutely zero reads, I think I would most likely push at 2NL since the players tend to overvalue draws and top pair. 5NL+, I'm leaning towards folding.

With another pot-sized bet on the river, I would not expect to win the showdown with an overpair. Fold.

You don't want to win the blinds?

1.5 big blinds in 1 hand is 150 big blinds in 100 hands, or 75 ptbb/100. That's one hell of a win-rate.

In general, don't open limp in no-limit hold'em for now. That means if it folds to you pre-flop with no one else having put money in the pot yet, never call. Later on in life you might find some exceptions where open limping is okay, but for now you won't.

Well, at river, you need to win this pot at showdown once in three times to break even. Personally I think you'll struggle to get 15% equity against any realistic range. The only hand I can even imagine he can be playing this strong that we beat is AT, but even then, if this guy overvalues top pair tens top kicker this much, I'd expect him to spazz pre with it. It's unlikely a flush draw plays like this, if it is it's a great level. This is two pair or better like nine times in ten. So to answer your question, I'd say calling this river bet is hugely -ev.

No, just raise ffs. When aces get busted by the big blind after they were limped, everyone at the table is laughing. Limped aces deserve busting.

incredibly stupid. Value in analysing this hand ends pre-flop, who cares about the rest. Stop making the huge mistakes first. Raise pre.

Whenever I see a showdown between people and one has AA and loses, I look back at the 'slow play' and just laugh for a few seconds and say (out loud, and at my screen) 'don't slow play those aces kids'.

Raise, and reraise every street really. If you take the blinds, then you take the blinds.
