Pre-flop all in with KKs, do I call?

I've been playing 5NL for the last few weeks. I'm currently running 24.72/8.97/1.4 (VP$P/PFR/AF) over 2,897 hands. My BB/100 rate is 15.21. I know my stats aren't great, but I think I'm doing okay I just seem to be making the same mistake. Here's the scenario:

I get pocket KKs. Someone raises ahead of me, so I re-raise (typically double their bet so if they raise to .15, I'll raise to .30). they call, flop comes down with rags. I bet the pot. He re-raises, I re-raise him, and he goes all in. I call, he has AA. I'm beginning to think that I should just fold with KKs if I get re-raised.

Any thoughts?

Haha that just sounds like bad luck, I wouldn't suggest folding with KKs.

Never fold & always bet KK+ for value preflop unless you know for a fact your opponent only plays aces (1 in a million scenario). Minraising is horrible and you should stop doing that. 3bet him to 3-4x his original raise. Without reads your postflop play is fine here.

Your stats indicate that you're somewhat of a calling station. You want the gap between your VPIP and PFR to be much closer than 25/9. Here's an article that goes more in depth on the subject:

(1) 3bet size is too small. The typical sizing is 3x their bet. So if they make it $0.15c (3bb), then you would make it $0.45 (9xbb) or so. Your sizing is just giving them great odds to call, when they are willing to call much more with worse hands.

(2) Before you bet, you need to have a plan on what to do should you get raised. Now when he raises you, and then you 3bet him, you really can't fold given the typical pot odds you are getting. If you felt he wouldn't put it in with worse hands when you 3bet him on the flop, then you are much better off just calling his check/raise (or folding).

Thanks a lot for the advice guys I really appreciate it. I've really been working hard to play fewer hands. I suspect thats why the ratio between VP$P/PFR is two large. I got into this whole thing of trying to play small ball and lost some money on Poker Stars before I realized the strategy didn't work as well in cash games. I'm also guessing I wasn't doing it entirely right anyway.

I will definitely place higher 3B raises. That makes so much sense redds, etc.

I think I can survive OK in life without ftr users liking me/thinking much of me. Thanks for your evident concern though.

you should never get to showdown with KKs because then it will be evident to the dealer that you have cheated

Yes, please fold to all 3bets unless you have AA or T9s
