The key to winning consistently is to not have to always rely on the cards. That means using position to win pots you normally wouldn't, and avoiding big pots when out of position unless you've got a great hand. Changing gears consistently is a key to throw players off. Sometimes I'll raise three hands pre flop in a row then play like a rock the next orbit. They still think you're playing wild but now you've got a hand. It's one of the keys to getting paid off.
