Default Should I just fold these?

AQ is my worst hand and according to poker tracker, the hand I lose the most money with. I'm thinking I should just toss it when I'm faced with a PF raise and I'll be OOP. Or maybe I can be taught how to play it better

As usual with 5NL, no reads on the villain.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button ($6.79)
    Hero (SB) ($6.07)
    BB ($5.23)
    UTG ($5.07)
    MP ($19.37)
    CO ($7.59)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, A
UTG raises to $0.20, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.18, 1 fold

    Flop: ($0.45) A, 8, 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.35, Hero raises to $1.20, UTG calls $0.85

    Turn: ($2.85) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $2.50, Hero raises to $4.67 (All-In), UTG calls $1.17 (All-In)

    River: ($10.19) J (2 players, 2 all-in)

    Total pot: $10.19 | Rake: $0.50

The turn screwed me up. Either I fold or get it in the middle.

First: how many hands in that sample?
Second: to an UTG raise I usually dump AQ oop. If it's suited I might call in position but I'm really hoping for a flush draw, or my villian to shut down on the turn so I have a chance to bluff, and I will be doing my best to keep the pot under control if I happen to flop a pair. Flopping an ace sucks because if we don't know our villian, we may be behind AK but not really know it.

By the way do you have a HUD? After 50-100 hands with someone you can get a pretty general idea of their preflop range. Key word is general, because this number will be scewed since the sample size is small, but if you're having trouble getting reads it can help.

I'll let others comment on that specific hand. But I don't think we should be bloating the pot here.

Currently I have 5500 hands in my poker tracker sample and that is over the course of a week and a half. I've lost my sample before since I got my new laptop.

AQo and AQs top the charts of negativity on poker tracker with AQs leading the pack at -$15.

Some of the hands are plain ol bad beats though.

Well 5500 hands isn't much to determine what hands are profitable for you in the long run. I'm not exactly sure TBH how many times you would need to play a hand for it to be near its true expectation. However, I think at least 25K+ in your database should illustrate a better picture as to what's profitable and what's not. You may be overplaying your top pair hands with AQ. I think you're over-repping it a bit in the hand you posted above. In a raised pot, AQ isn't the greatest hand to play out of position, and if you're against nitty opponents you'll need to be folding it when you make a pair fairly often. Perhaps you should post the other large pots you've lost with AQ and alot of the reg's here will be able to notice a pattern in the way you approach the hand.

Doesnt mean its 5NL,you have no reads, heck????
So only higher stakes villain's have more reads?

Calling AQs on the sb pf is to hit hard on the flop.If you dont, you dont continue. Then again, you're playing UTG raiser.I am pretty sure you didnt put him on a range here.Or else you will play it differently. Why raise on the flop?

I'm just calling the flop because I'm not super thrilled about my hand.
