Default A tough QQ hand oop

Villian is one of the more decent regs i have stats on 12/9/3.0 over 1.6k hands. As he seems tight in EP i decided not to 3bet here, what do you guys think? I expected him to cbet the flop but it never came...

absolutely fine, you can't fold to a $2 bet especially when it looks like he doesn't have much

Thanks Iopq, trying not to be results orientated but.... He flopped middle set so i think i did well to not lose my whole stack, a few weeks ago i probably would by 3betting pre or donking flop into him woohoo

This line looks like two things: a badly played set or a badly played KK+, among other things.

His check on the flop is extremely strange, don't you think? You were expecting a cbet, and rightly so, didn't get one, and then got raised on the turn. Did this make bells go off in your head? I'm not folding this river, but to help better define his range, his line leans towards strong/very strong type hands IMO.

I don't mind checking here with AK on the flop because your flatting range has a lot of hands like 87 that will raise

maybe it's because I'm playing against different opponents, but I see a raise on the turn by people who don't give you credit for a hand because they think you bet into weakness

you can maybe fold river if he only bets small for value, but it's kind of a risky way to play
