Default What's the longest session you've done?

Today I had absolutely nothing to do. Summer just started, my friends are all busy today, my girlfriend started summer school so off I went and fired off pokerstars.

I just finished my longest session of 3 hours and 40 minutes (12 tabling). I stopped because I had to pee

    Minutes: 220
    Hands: 2806
    Hands/hr: 765

What was your longest session? (duration of session and # of hands)

i had an 8k hand day last week. i moved back down to 5NL for the week and was playing FR so i was 8 tabling quite easily (i usually 6 table 6 max)

Not sure if you're counting live poker as well as online; live I've had 16+ hour days. Online...much much less.

I recorded a seven-hour and four minute session earlier this month.

Live, I've gone about 20 hours.

    Online 5 hours.

I have no idea why it's so easy to keep on truckin' playing live, but online you just don't care after like 3 hours.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

My times are about the same. I think sitting at a table with human interaction is more interesting than sitting in a dark room 8 tabling for hours. I mean who enjoys sitting at a desk all day?

    Live, arround 12 hours.

    Online, 4 hours.

Online: 2hrs in one sitting. lulz.
Live: 4hrs, but that was bc I won the donkament.

no more than about 6 hours in one sitting (donkament). I put in five straight 12 hour days once when I wanted a laptop from FPPs really really bad.

    I don't recommend doing that.

    8 hours for a donkament
  23. #23
Good lord I think I multi-tabled SNGs for like 16 straight hours once. Meh, I was on a roll though...

First week in Aug I may do 4 straight 8hr days and 4 at night. I am on vacation by myself but not going anywhere, and longer will have the family showing up so it's no go

I've done 18+ hrs before with only stopping for breaks and to get food and pee. I ate at th computer. I could do 24 straight with just pee breaks easily.
