Then raise him the next hand with 83o, knowing that because they're not sooted, I got a shot at two flushes instead of just one.

Nah, you're ok, sounds like you've taken some bad beats, got your aces cracked a couple times. I'd keep playing. Just play solid poker, and be patient, you can't make it all up in one hand.
