I have experienced variance for sure. I openly admit that I would get crushed at 50nl and probably 20nl right now.
I play uber ABC poker raise hands outright, fold misses and vary a little bit on draws
Bumhunting is an amazing tool at reducing variance though.
I dont see the point of playing better people? when there are plenty of 5nl idiots out there.
You rise an interesting debate. Some poker rooms have started to limit the number of heads up tables you can open at any one time to reduce bhunting a bit. But thats all they can do. As the player I have the right to decide who I play, nobody else. And TBH as long as they get rake they dont really care imo. Lets face it, the only people who are fussed are the reg winners that play HU and they are a very small minority.
RE original post. have decided to go for option 2, and have beaten a few of the better 5nl players tonight. Although I will be happy to keep milting the tards as well.
Another benefit of the bottom of the bottom stakes is you get a lot of players with th last 10 or 20 dollars of there roll looking to tilt it off.
