1K in 31 Days: The HUSNG Mini-Op

Using aggressive BRM, posted below, I will run up $200 to $1,200 in a month, from today, September 12th, to October 12th. I will attempt to play at least 20 HUSNGS a day, while studying my results in-depth. Hopefully I can post some hands and theory questions to help revive the atrophied HU forum as well.

Bankroll Management:

$200-400 $11s

$400-750 $22s

This will obviously require moving up/down with my results. I will most likely be 1 tabling unless I get really comfortable at any one stake, and they will all be turbos. I usually get in about 7 per hour so my 3hrs of poker time a day should suffice, plus I’ll catch up if needed on weekends. I expect to spend most of my time at the 22s/33s, as it may become a little more difficult to get games and I will run into more regs.I have a very busy schedule with school and private teaching but I should be fine getting my SnGs in.

I have a few other goals:

-Do my best to control my tilt. This is such a killer in HU, and in a SnG you can just blow it all in one hand and it takes a number of them to recoup.
-Make some decent strategy posts in the HU/BC forums. HUSNGS are a really fast way to build up a small be into a lot of money, and not enough micro players with decent fundamentals (i.e., 25nlers) are taking advantage of this.
-Get comfortable with myself as a poker player. By this I mean, I have very little confidence in my reads generally, so anything I can do to make myself more sure (i.e., studying, reviewing every detail of every HH, reading tons of articles online, etc) I’ll try to do to make myself a better, more comfortable player.
