In a vacuum, that's true, but realistically, I don't think that's necessarily true. If those extra hours one night prevent you from having the same "A" game the next day or something similar, it has a cumulative affect to lose or not win as much, which is very similar to losing. I think it's best to always strive for "A" game and it's one of the reasons I specifically do not set goals related to hands played. The fact that I having a one day stop loss is another big reason and a "hands played" goal could potentially be at odds with it.

right, but I have the problem where I give up hundreds of hours of A game because I am afraid of playing my B game
