Anyone know how to start a blog?

Dumb question.. but ill ask since I cant see it answered any where.. how do you start your own blog?

Of course you can bypass the FTR VIP club and sign up for blogger, xanga, livejournal, pitas or any of the other many, many blogging sites. Less exclusive but less snobby
