Come on Zach Lets Learn Poker
Alright so after I moved home for the summer played a little and was just flat out loosing.
It is time to learn to play poker. I am going to play Full ring 10nl to start should be able to move up to 25nl in a week or two any decent + winning.
My goals are as always to stay focused do not just hit buttons like a monkey or because of an attitude or just because or to shove him off a hand (even though I do not know his range)
Loosen up and play more hand post flop. This is a big key I think to becoming a better player. By playing more hands pre flop you end up in situations post flop that you have to analyze and make real decisions. I feel like when I play tight I end up in situations were I either can not fold or it is an easy fold.
I also need to inline with focus, start putting people on ranges previous to a flop and then narrow it down as I go. I need put 200% more focus into individual hands.
______
I feel like I play poker make a few hundred at micro stakes get frustrated and either switch games or stop playing for a few months and then get an itch for poker start playing again and repeat.
I know I can win. I know I can make a shit ton of money and play at higher stakes I just need to get some focus in my game and start playing the player and not my own hand.
This is not going to be a play X hands, for X hours thread.
I am working a lot so I will play when I can but that is fine since I think I need quality play time rather than quantity.
It does not mean shit to continue to crack out a few ptbb at micro limits it is all about improving my game. this time.
