The week has had no waves in town = I have a new board that I still haven't hit the water with. I only went climbing once. And only one night of live music. No yoga. Some running, not enough.

I played too much poker this week. And haven't even been profiting from it. Running bad? a little, but not really. Playing less than optimally? most definitely. Enjoying it? not as much as I have done. Thinking about what other things those hours could be doing? yep... a little concerned about the addictive qualities of poker? absolutely.

so my bankroll still lingers around the $4-<$5k mark. Impatient, and that is probably a factor in how poorly i am playing.

Life is about experiences. Those experiences result in stories. Sitting in front of a computer playing poker is a story that is interesting the first telling, but doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
edit. life is also about meeting jack's avatars!

Should I start playing MTTs? winning the Sunday million would make a good story, but I doubt that mtts are a good answer. SNGs - nope, i revisited $60 i had sitting on party and played the $3 & $6 sngs i first played poker in. It's so much about coinflips and suckouts. wow. Ended up down $10 or something, so I was beating the players but not the rake... Don't think they're something I particularly enjoy any more - and it's not just because of the micro-$$ involved.

hmm... watch this space...
