I recently chose to focus on 6m (despite your advice!) for the additional reason that I find it easier to go from 6m back to FR rather than the reverse, without a 5k hand adjustment/downswing.

Don't let 'em hate. Short-stacking is a legitimate endeavor, and I played with it just to prove I could "invent" some basic principles based on game theory and poker knowledge. Short-stacking (or playing them) requires some very precise manipulations and adjustments preflop, and the short-stacker wins any time he's better at the adjustments than his competitors. Learning the theory helps you beat the better ones you play against. But if you become a 20bb-ratholing-hit-and-run-motherf*&%#r then FTR ban imo.
