this will be all sorts. Vids are an obvious candidate, watch 2-3 a week and that's a bunch of study time just there. I am also including session review time as study here. There are a few regs at FT 100nl and 200nl who I have a lot of hands with - but my notes are too long and not useful enough in gametime. So, some reg profiling/tidying up of notes. I will also be recording a subset of my screen occasionally, 6 tables worth I expect, and will set up some teamviewer/skype sweat sessions of these vids via FTR/irc. Better than real time sweats cos of the pause button. Some hand review/discussion. FTR posting on interesting hands. 2+2 history lessons. Specific spots that are frequent but where I haven't spent enough time thinking in detail. First on the list is some broad math on steal/defence spots and lines that I've been meaning to do for a while. Should be fairly simple. And if any of you read my "how to play the small blind at micros" or "playing AQ utg in micros" rambles - I've got a few more topics that I want to spend some time on.
Jyms - re the rakeback/bonus questions. Post away, if the answers are here they become easy to refer other people to. Your comments on stakes are spot on too. I need to discipline my game again, I figure forcing myself to grind out 20buyins a stake through three levels should re-introduce some focus.
A year ago I was regularly clearing $1k a week playing poker. And I had a job at the same time. I should be killing that now, but I'm breaking even. I'm excited about this phase of the davenpoker project. Here's to clearing three stakes in a month!
