First $100 Day Weeeeeee

Just had to share with everyone that I ended today +$100 for the first time ever. I've come close several times but today was my first 3-digit day strictly from poker play (no bonuses). Thanks FTR!

I had my first on Friday, finished on +$119. Can't believe that's the best day I've ever managed.

So how much did you play? I had to play nearly 900 hands of $50NL to get two buy-ins up...

Of course I've had a -$183 day, so a ways to go to even the score.

I finished a ton of homework and decided to relax and play for a little bit. I played 400 hands - 4 25NL tables and 4 50NL tables - at an Ongame skin and wound up +$102.85 to be exact. About 1/2 came from 25NL and 1/2 from 50NL. My worst day so far is about -$65 which was when I was strictly playing 25NL. I've played 25NL so long I'm almost rolled for 100NL now lol. It's amazing how much progress can be made from not cashing out and putting forth some effort for a couple months in a row.

I must be fucked. I have gone up $100 and down $100 in the same day with 4 x $10NL 6max and 2 x $20NL FR. I guess itonly counts if you stop when you are up. My + $100 days are always after I tighten up and get my money back. Not so much lately now that I'm not trying to push the little edges that make me go up and down as much. GG Martin, keep it up, and thanks for the informative posts over the last few months.

lol wow $100 swings playing a majority of 10NL? now that's some variance. my play is usually pretty low variance. although in the last 2 weeks (like 8k hands of mostly 25NL) leading up to my $100 day i only made $35. felt good to have variance on my side for a change. thanks for the kind words.

Ya, I've found this to be a problem at those limits. Guys will call off stacks with second pair or a flush draw, and play the same lines as a set or made str8. It's been a problem for me going for the big wins. I'm just figuring out what it takes to not go up and down so much and trying to play more small pots unless I havethe monster hands. biondino has been helping me not call off stacks on marginal hands. Sure I win some but losing some is more of a problem, erasing 3 or 4 hours of good poker.

Word. That first hundred dolla day is a nice feeling. I hit a hot run of cards a couple weeks ago and took $120 off the 20NL tables in about an hour. I hadn't had a day like that since playing LHE last fall.

Best day at $50 and below=+$360.

Yesterday I had my first 100$ session. (101,5$ )
But run a session later and lost 3 buy-ins, all in 3 times while being ahead, well I guess thats poker.
