    Default Gauging interest: Operation Manager

I'm getting ready to launch a series of small operations while rebuilding my roll. Since Poker Etc. Has basically become the "Operations" forum, I thought I'd post this here.

I'm building an application that creates a graphic to track operation progress, and do it dynamically.

It Works like so. You fill out a form to create your operation. You can define some parameters of what the image looks like, what your goal is, what you're playing, and how you determine success.

It then creates a graphic you can link in your sig that shows your operation name, describes it. Lists your starting bankroll, your current bankroll, and then shows a graph of how far you've gotten in your goal.

It creates a meter from 0 to 100 percent, and then fills it in based on your goal, and how far you've gotten.

You can define your goal based on three metrics: Games played (SNGs, MTTs), Hands Played, or Bankroll.

You can then quickly go to the site, and plug in your updated data, and it will dynamically change your image for you, so that everyone can can track your progress.

I'm creating it for myself anyway, and will likely have it running by tonight, or Saturday. Would there be any interest in this as a community resource?

    Hi,

I think that sounds like quite an interesting idea. I will be starting an operation/blog in mid march when my internet is up and running at home and would be interested in trying this out.

Please PM me details of how I can get access/download whatever is needed.

    Cheers

I'd love to use it Fortune. I have a blog but no real sig to track my progress. I'm in. You could be the next zodiac killer of sig's.

I've got it more or less done... I just need to open it up to multiple users.

this is a great idea and i would definitly be interested in trying it out. Can it be retroactive for those of us that have ongoing operation threads already?

Still cranking... may make it out today... if not today, tomorrow. I took a break last night to actually, you know... play some poker.
