a friend wants to cash in the christchurch marathon in a couple of months, top five pay. I've been enlisted to help on the training front, specifically with motivation on the weekly 30k(m). Guess that means i'm in marathon training mode too. So far it seems to involve two things:
1 - tired legs
2 - much appetite
in other news, i'm feeling pretty fit... Some decent mileage out running, riding a bunch, a little bit of time in the water surfing or diving, training at the boulder wall three times a week = that's my cross-training under control i reckon.
playing some occasional poker too.
