happy saturday. no one sentme run good, thanks guys. i ran lolbad and ended up dropping $237 (1-2nl). i've been going to the local casino for about 4-5 months or so, but it's only open friday and saturday and i usually can only go 2-3 times per month. it's also a 45 minute drive one way so not the friendliest commute, especially now that winter is settling in and the snow is starting to falllll. here is my graph overall since i started keeping track
hands and bb/100 are just estimates ldo. my live game could definitely use a lot of work, my results are nothing staggering, there are many times where i sense that i could take a pot away or something but then chicken out or talk myself out of it. no one knows how to play the turn or river so that is what i should be trying to exploit more often.
the game is basically funded by one guy who they call chuckles because he has an awesome belly laugh after every single hand. real cool guy and fun to play with, but just no good at the poker and is the big donator. other than him there it's usually the same 4-5 super nits and 1-2 semi taggs and the occasional drunken lagtard.
anyway, the 2 big hands i lost were against the donator. i have time and feel like whining so
straddle is on, $200 eff stacks, i'm utg with A A and make it $14 and 3 callers, including the donator in sb. flop is 6 7 9 and i bet like $40 or something and donator calls all else fold. turn is a sick T and donator fires $40. i call and pray for heart but it bricks and he bets $40 and i fold.
about an hour later i'm utg again with A A . i didn't notice the straddle and only made it $10. 6 callers or something, including donator once again. flop 5 7 9 or something and donator (~$150 stack) leads for $10, i make it $50, he calls. turn 3 donator shoves for ~$100, i cry and call and his K 7 binks a on the river.
so that's my update for today. we're supposed to get like a million inches of snow this weekend and my snowblower is busted so i will probably have a nice shovel workout soon.
i need to think of a catchy tagline to end my posts. bye.
