Here's a hand where I think I'm valuepwning myself on the river by raising? Villain is unknown, I believe this was my first hand at the table. On blank rivers I'm folding alot, and should probably just flat this one.

UTG ($390)
MP ($236.37)
Button ($480.20)
SB ($524.70)
Hero (BB) ($400)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10 A
3 folds, SB calls $2, Hero raises $14, SB calls $14

Flop: ($36) 10 9 3 (2 players)
SB bets $36, Hero calls $36

Turn: ($108) 8 (2 players)
SB bets $54, Hero calls $54

River: ($216) A (2 players)
SB bets $108, Hero raises $292 (All-In)

-----

UTG limper is a LP fish, calls too much and all that stuff. Isolator is 15/11 nit. I think this is actually close to a fold preflop. Postflop I figure I can vb the shit out of the fish and fold easily to a flop or turn raise by either player. If nit sees the turn I'll have to procede with caution. Probably bet a little more on turn to really deny him odds to call with pair+spade hands. As played, on blank rivers I'm thinking c/c alot.

CO ($400)
Button ($394)
Hero (SB) ($803.50)
BB ($357)
UTG ($479.60)
MP ($194.10)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J A
UTG calls $4, MP raises $18, 2 folds, Hero calls $16, 1 fold, UTG calls $14

Flop: ($58) 5 A 4 (3 players)
Hero bets $42, UTG calls $42, 1 fold

Turn: ($142) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $85, UTG calls $85

River: ($312) 2 (2 players)
Hero check/folds.

------

This is a spot where I'm not sure if I should be trying to get it in on the flop. Villain runs 21/17, 3b% 8, is generally much more aggro on the flop than on later streets, but I've also caught him triple barrelling air in good spots. I think if I do decide to get it in on the flop then I should make a smaller raise to give him more room to shove over the top. With a raise to 180 I'm probably gonna be in pretty bad shape vs his b/3b range.
