Hopefully last time I have to take a shot at 25NL

what time are you usually playing? I agree that the 50NL tables have a lot of regs. I table select like crazy and when my table gets too reg filled for me, I leave it and hunt for another table with a couple fish. And for sure there are tons of bad regs... (I think I'm one of them, lol)

usually afternoon or evenings US mountain time. I table select like mad too and can find a couple of fish but 10 minutes later fishy is broke and replaced by more regs. (and now I can join you as one of the bad regs ).

UPDATE: BR=$2474 Close enough to +10 BIs for 50NL since the move. Wasn't entirely 50NL tho. Had some 25NL times when the 50NL tables were just terrible and +50$ from stellar bonus. I feel like I might be settling in now tho.

First 2 weeks were all break even, but that was ok considering I tanked within a week during previous shots at 25NL. I think once I stopped FPS spewing I actually started winning. Really only since about the start of April I started booking some wins. Just too busy lately between working snowboarding and trying to play fewer tables to put in much volume. So I don't want to get ahead of myself and think I'm gonna crush this sh!t. But for the time being I have almost 20BIs for 50NL before I have to move back down. I'm sticking to a strict 2BI stop loss so unless the doomswitch hits I should hopefully be sticking around for a while.

UPDATE: okey, BR=$2200+. The Pokerstars switch killed me. I topped out at about $2550@50NL. Since the switch, my tough time with the regulars just got wayyyyy tougher. Being the nit that I am I usually did the best I could to find fishees. Seems like the tiny pond I was fishing at 50NL dried up. Even played some 25NL and it seemed like I was playing 50NL previous to the switch. I just ended up trying to outplay and FPS spewing all over the place.

For the time being I am going back to 25NL to try to work some sh!t out. Pains me being well rolled for 50NL still, but I have some serious kinks I have to work out before continuing. I'm also on pace for goldstar for the first time ever and its a bit easier to put in higher volume at 25NL. I picked out about 10 regs I have 700+ hands on. I'm going to go through PT and try to pick their game apart and see if I can come up wih some good ways to hurt em. Dunno should be benificial I hope. Don't know how long I will stay at 25. I guess whenever I feel like I can stomp the regs a bit better. I thought I had a problem with them before but now...........

Life news: My home mountain closed on Sunday. I took a slam on a jump a week ago. Busted lip and a broken wrist woooo. Also managed to destroy 2 sets of bindings this season. Last day, my wifey broke her wrist as well wooooo. Now that the resort is closed, the town will be a ghost town. I have about 2 weeks until we close down my bakery, so I will be on part-time hours pretty much. After that we wont open again until memorial day weekend. Arapahoe Basin should be open till middle of May I hope so I might still get some riding in before stupid ass summer. But anyways I will have plenty more time to play and hopefully improve. Next update whenever the fook I feel like it.

I dunno wtf I wanna do. Yesterday I started at 25NL, was pretty meh. Saw some better 50NL tables, played there for the rest of the day +60$. Today the 25NL tables seemed better than 50NL +30$. Low volume though, only bout 300-500 hands a day with less tables. I think I just had a bad week. I really need to stop being a pussy and play what I'm rolled to play. Although I think it's even more +EV for me to play whatever stake seems to be suited to my nittyness at the time. A lot of my spew still seems to come from bad postflop play and trying to put moves on regs. I'm not scured of the regs. I guess I'm just getting frustrated trying to squeeze a penny out of em. Stuff to work on, dunno.
