Quick update: yesterday was three years to the day I first started playing cash games on Stars at $2NL and I celebrated by playing the lowest stakes on Carbon $4NL this year. Feels both happy and sad at the same time.

It took a while for my Western Union deposit to go through. For some reason, it didn't work and said 'denied' and I had to wait 4 or 5 hours before support resolved it, but they did resolve it and I played about 30 minutes. This software is definitely going to take some getting used to, but hopefully with some persistence, I will. The most difficult problem to overcome I find on any software is being to keep up with the action and feel like you know what's going on at all the tables. I definitely didn't feel like I knew.

The one major thing I did not get to work was my HUD. I didn't get to troubleshoot it long, but my hands were importing and my stats would update in the main reporting client, just no HUD. After work today if I have time, I'll revisit it. At any rate, that's several hurdles overcome in one afternoon and I'm that much closer to playing competitively again.
