Many people want to go to heaven, but few are willing to die to actually do so.

This seems like a cliche but it has quite some application in the real world. Time and time again I see this particular situation getting repeated, every time with different actors...

Including me.


I'm proud of myself lately however at how I've been working so hard this past week or so at this poker thing. But, as expected, "this past week' is not nearly enough to work very hard at, and become as good as I really want to. So I have to keep going.

Keep grinding, keep studying the game, keep reading and rereading poker books, keep grinding some more, keep lurking around here, keep occasionally spouting some abstract wisdom here, keep getting myself in situations over and over again, keep studying etc. The circle is endless, but I have to tirelessly go around it.

In short: get off my lazy ass and work at it if I really want to be that good.



And right now i too am willing to die to go to heaven. Game is on, baby. Lets drink to that, bourbon pls (tnx flomo)
