i decided to create a blog becuase i love poker and even more so i love writing, so heres my link to my blog ive only posted twice, and will add to it every now and then...appreciate any comments at all.

The game i played after that last post, i actually did take down the final pot and pocketed a nice chunk of change. Allow me to attempt to recall what happened....nevermind, i cant, its my fault for not posting right after it happened, oh well jacob's blog lovers, there was a more recent game, last night, that i will be able to recall. My first week here in Tally so i don't know anyone, thus all my opponents were completely unknown to me.

There were 6 players, 10 dollar buyin, blinds started at 10 and 20 cents. First hand of the game, i had k5o, everyone checks to me, the big blind, so i raise it up, sensing a weak group, 2 players call, then the flop comes full of rags, i c-bet and get re-raised, i fold, sensing he had to have something made, and he turns over aces lol first hand and he slow played em.

Second hand of the game, i get kjs and i raise it up, i only get one caller so me and him go into the flop, the flop comes out rags but i picked up the flush draw, the villain raises me all in, i sense he has a weak pair with a high kicker, most likely Axs, and i call...we flip our cards and he has 67o (why did he call my preflop raise?) with the middle pair, the turn comes a king so i knock him out.

There was this player on the left of me that was a complete calling station, he went all in on the flop with a gut shot straight draw, and the lucky bitch picked it up on the turn. Later in the game he was put all in and he called with 10-4....FUCKING 10-4 OFFSUITED WHO DOES THAT?...now this is the best part, can anyone guess the flop?...of course you can, the flop comes out 10 10 4....HE FLOPPED A FULL HOUSE WTF!...the person he was all in with ended up rivering the flush so only the full would have won, and he fucking had a full house 10's full.

so of course from those 2 hands, its pretty obvious that this kid is running hot. Next time he has 10 4 offsuit he pushes someone else all in and hes up against pocket 3's , and again he fucking rivers a 3.

This sets the stage for my best play of the night:
Hero- 10d,9c
hero raises 6, (blinds are $1,$2), villain calls
Flop- 2c,5d,4c
Hero raises all in, Villain folds
villain shows Kd,Ks
I made him fucking fold with pocket kings, when he calls all-ins with 10-4 ...it was my proudest moment..

Another hand i had i got all my money in on the flop with tptk, and my opponent folded, k-7 with a middle pair of sevens, and the turn would have been a king...phew....

Ok so eventually its me and senor callingstation heads up, the first few hands any time i bluff at it he calls, then, honestly his only other fold the entire game other than when he laid down the pocket kings, was when i had flopped a 2 pair and made such a weak post oak bet, about 1/5 of the pot....so agonizing...so a few hands got checked all the way through as i didnt feel like bluffing, and of course my 3 high and my 7 high did not hold up to his cards, so i was getting pissed off (ah yes, for those that are thinking...here comes the tilt, hes going to go on tilt isnt he?...the answer is yes)

villain is showing his hand to people surrounding him, sometihng he has not done the whole game, he definatly has a hand, but i have the best hand, all that can beat me is an already made pair, but he just has high cards, he definatly doesnt have a middle pair....

Hey dude within few months I have become strongly addicted to the online poker and trying my best to perform well in the free tables initially and then I plan to participate in the money tables. On the other hand I would like to know if any specific books are there which can help me learn some of the hidden tricks of this game and as a result my performance enhances. Please let me know if any such specific reading is going to help me. Thanks in advance.
