almost everything mentioned is coming at some point, but things take time.
Xianti... I would be thrilled to integrate it with FTR when it's closer to completion. Right now, I need constant FTP access and access to all the MySQL tables. When it's more stable, I intended to approach you about moving it to the FTR servers, potentially.
I MAY also open it up to the whole poker community rather than keeping it solely FTR, but I doubt it. I don't like anyone else but the people on the forum.
The description and drive name were meant to be left alone initially... I had a reasoning for this as I felt one shouldn't be able to just cancel an operation in the middle, or rename it to hide failure. It was more of a motivational tool. I've decided to change that, though... and it will likely happen in the next update. Possibly later today, but I might take the day off on this... I've put a lot of time into this thing the last week or so.
Xioustic... actually, when I first saw your sig, I was like "Thats cool... I want one." Then I was like... "fuck... I don't want to upload graphics every couple of days... can I make it dynamic?" and so on and so forth... until it formed like Voltron into this project. I opted for a database approach as opposed to text files, but the theory is more or less the same.
HalvSame - Multiple goals are coming. It's not hard to do, but what I can't wrap my head around yet would be how to weight the goals. Let's say your goal is to make $100 and play 1o tournaments, and 2000 ring hands, all in 3o days. Let's say you're 15 days in, made 17 bucks, played 20 tournaments, and 250 ring hands. What percentage have you completed? It's not so cut and dry... but it's not impossible. I need to nail down the theory behind it before I implement multi-tiered goals.
I'll look into the negative bankroll thing... I think your percentage defaults to 0, but the script should work. Thanks for the tip.
other things on my mind are: Customizable fonts, date-based timers for goals, motivational emails based on your goals (low priority, but fun idea. For some reason, me and PHP's mail functions have never gotten along... but that makes it more of a challenge), I could theoretically tie it to poker tracker to make 100 percent automatic, and I also had an idea where I would create a stand alone application that you could simply enter your daily sessions stats, and it would track everything without having to visit the web site.
All in due time... this thing isn't writing itself. I haven't programmed it to do that...
Yet.
