I'd just like to say I'm really excited about this. I'd really like to somehow get to 400nl before the challenge starts so i can have a good shot at winning. This i think, is an awesome thing for FTR, a challenge to take all of our games to the next level.

Regarding the probability of one of us actually getting 30k

Between around 10 players its not unlikely one of us gets hot. Anyways, even if i stay at 200nl the whole time (doubtful).
4ptBB/100 6-8 tabling is around 500 hands per hour. That's $80 an hour.
30000/80=375 hours.

375/6 hours per day = ~62 days, that's two months of 6 hours per day (with no life easy as pie).

Obviously, I think it's going to take playing higher to win this, as I fully expect to be at at least 400NL by the end.
