    Default OP: Micro and Up

Felt like I should start an OP thread about my grind from the midget stakes to .5/1 NL (where I hope to be at the end of this). My goal is simple: own the cash games at the lower stakes and progress until at a rate I feel comfortable at. I'm going to start out my bankroll at $100 playing $5NL (preferably four-tabling) and using HEM and hopefully gaining insight to the stats I have logged on players and using them to my advantage. I want to work on my timing tells (I feel like they have been killing me in some big pots) as well as my bet sizing (to attain more value as well as bluffing better)... soo here goes... glad to be a part of the FTR community and I look forward to your constructive criticism.

GL. I don't really think you can pick up timing tells online due to most players multi-tabling. Maybe you can explain more about it.
Explain...what I do for a living without saying "I make monies in da 600 enels by pwnin' tha donk bitches". Instead I say "I'm a online financial redistribution broker". - Sasquach991

i agree. i think you're far better off learning to use HEM info than focussing too heavily on timing tells online. good luck

I use the "find this player" option to see how many tables a player is on and adjust my play with them accordingly. It seems that someone 12 tabling and taking along time to act on your table usually has a higher priority hand on another table.Watch out for single table players stalling to look weak when they're strong.

Sit to the right of these dudes and blind steal at will. *Most* of them are completely oblivious to what you're doing.

Hello all, just back from playing my first session of this grind and I played for about an hour, things went pretty well. The worst hand I had was I lost 30 cents by seeing a river with a straight and flush draw. I think I'll be on tonight playing more cash sessions online, lately I've been going down to Foxwoods (casino in my area) as I just turned 21 a few days ago and so far I've won about $250 so far there (w/ $100 buy ins). Made $7.85 playing 338 hands... so hopefully this will be a sign of good things to come
