    Default Operation 1 Month Off

Well well well, where to begin?

I have not been able to play much poker over the last few months. I have been doing many things from searching for a new job, to preparing for my Professional Golf Association's certification testing(passed and now I'm a Class "A" for those of you who know what that is) to preparing to move back to Texas.

To update, I have found a new job in Texas teaching for a golf company. I won't name it but if you live in or near Houston hit me up for a lesson
Today was my last day at my course here and I will be leaving Las Vegas Thursday to go home because my J-O-B does not begin until the end of April. This gives me a month off from work to do about anything I want to do. And, since I'm a bit burnt out on golf this will include partying and playing poker. My goals will be not monetary but quanity (hands) driven. I specifically expect that more hands=more money.

I have a roll of $860 give or take a little rakeback and I have $480 left to clear at UB as well as rakeback there and the UB points promotion. If I can get myself rolled for $50NL in the next few days I will be clearing the UB points much faster which will help get me to $100NL in a hurry. I figure if I can put in two 3 hour sessions daily 4tabling 6max(5+ tables once I get better at NL) I can get in about 2500 hands a day. Running something as miniscule as 2.5ptbb/100 would still get me to $100NL very fast.

My goal is simple, get to $3k before April 25th when I start my new job.

Thanks for the wishes guys. It's good to be back playing. At the moment I am 3tabling 6max so I can stop thinking like a robot and start thinking like a no-limit player. My goal is to play 2 seperate 3 hour sessions daily 3tabling with the hope of playing 1500-2000 hands a day.

My first session had it's up's and downs. PT screwed up a bit and when I was done I thought I had broke even. However, I actually won ~$60. I thought I got stacked twice to start but I guess they were against shorties.

Here's my biggest pot of the day:

This guy was a 20/20 TAGG who I knew was using PT because he called me a nit who only played 10% of my hands. His limp raise was so quick he either had AA or he misclicked. After the hand he told me he misclicked and I actually believe him.

Alright, looks like it's going to be tougher to play these games around noon PST on the weekdays. I am mining 7 of the available 15 UB tables at $25nl and here are the averages:

    VPIP/PFR

    30/11
    30/10
    26/6
    29/6
    33/6
    23/5
    15/5

Just a little depressing but I think my morning 3 hour sessions will now be 5-6tabling and just used to accumulate bonus/rb/UB points. If I can play slightly better than breakeven poker during these times I will be happy.

I probably won't even play much today but I just finished Jman's Bluff Magazine article (awesome BTW) and reading the 3rd part of NLT&P. The coworkers are throwing me a get-the-fuck-outta-here party later which should be cool. I still have so much shit to get done before I leave town Thursday morning and I have not started any of it.

Well I've played about 4k hands of poker since I started this crap. Yea, it sucks but I do have a valid excuse. Tomorrow(Monday) starts my real time off as I have been taking care of a few things.

Had a funny thing happen to me last night. I was bored and was playing some low limit when I sat with one other player at a Full Ring table. After 4-5 hands in the beginning where I raised PF and he folded I figured he was just multi-tabling and hadn't figured it out. What happened next, blew my mind. It was a bot, and nothing else. I took $55 off of it at .25/.50 LIMIT HOLD'EM in about 225 hands. The thing was obviously set for full ring limit and not heads up because its PT stats were 19/3 and most of that was limp-folding the button. Pretty crazy stuff. TJ/Rolla and others can attest.

I'm going to add a few more things to my count. One for real and one for fun. I need to get back into shape so Im adding that in here.

Only one big pot really. I thought opponent was decent, he proved me otherwsie.

    Disclaimer: Partial Vent Post

Well this fucking sucks. My hard drive on my laptop disappeared last night or that's at least what my laptop told me. Kudos to the Dell Support team for hopefully shipping it out today. Anyways, what truly pissed me off about it is the fact that I had everything on the computer and none of it backed up. Ontop of this I lost 1.5 buyins in my first "shot" at $50NL just 20 minutes before the crash. God I wish my comp had crashed 30 minutes earlier.

I have to now figure out how to get my PT and PAHUD registration codes back w/o having to repay for them. Also, I've lost my entire PT database. Anyone that has had this happen to them please feel free to tell me the process in getting these codes back.

I get to sit here the next few days and just read about the game. It's probably what I needed anyways seeing how my game wasn't really improving lately. I plan on finishing NLT&P and TOP. That is of course around the Masters broadcast which I will be glued to this weekend.

My BR~$1015 which sucks. Im going to drop down to $25NL until I get it up to $1250 before my next shot. Hopefully my next update comes when I hit that number and hopefully it's soon.
