Having initially started a thread in the sit and go forum to complete this operation from just $50, I have now become rather bored of purely playing turbos, and moved back to my first poker love, 7 stud.

I'm using this thread mainly to document my own journey up to 5k, and maybe beyond. It may be beneficial for stud players, for general bankroll management (I'm on the conservative side), but hopefully for me too, as I'll be able to track my progress and get some advice from time to time.

So. this is the start, I'll try to update regularly.

Current bankroll - $1245, up from $50 from sit and gos.

My bankroll strategy for stud, due to the high variance of the game, is 400BB for each level. This should give me a nice cushion for moving up of 100BB above the generally advised 300BB per level.

So, although I have the 300BB for 2/4, I'm staying at 1/2 limit until I have $1600.

I'll update later on my progress on day 1 of tracking this all.
