UPDATE:

The end of a bittersweet session for me. I generally played well and aggressively, and at one point I was up by nearly $500 more than my finishing total (in my estimation). In the end i got cold decked and my aggression amplified the effect.

Hands: 4034
Winnings: $3486

$525 from HiLo, $2425 from 200PLO, and a little bit from 400PLO and 100PLO although I'm primarily sticking to 200PLO from now on. I'm less than a sixth through my hands after about 1/4 of the month. I might not hit my target but i'll keep trying

RANDOM THOUGHTS:

The Peter Principle states that people move up until they reach their level of incompetence. For me, that level is unfortunately at 400PL/NL. I tried breaking it at holdem, and failed. Tried to break it at PLO, and failed once again. At least it's not too expensive this time around. My career results at 400 is not something i'm very proud of. On the other hand, I'm really comfortable at my sweet spot of 200NL/PL, where I've killed the games for over a year now

I've promised myself to make the most of things when it's going well because it may not last forever. So I will endeavour to put in more hands. I regret not getting enough holdem played when things were good. I thought the games would be soft forever, and there would be plentiful bonuses and the bodog bottomless bonuses forever, but I was wrong. In that glorious year after I exhausted my casino bonuses and graduated from party and skins (man I miss those bonuses now... 2-4 reloads a month and virtually unlimited 20x multipoker bonuses) and started moving up @ bodog between mid nov 2005 to mid nov 2006 I made 60k, but had played as much as I could it's likely I could have made double that.

Still, there's no reason why I can't achieve the same amount this year. Remember to make hay while the sun shines.

Which is why I haven't got around to posting any hands, but rest assured I will be collecting hands and posting them when I go back to uni and I'm bored in my lectures!
