UPDATE:

The last 2 days have been a little tougher. I've managed to put in about 800 hands a day, which doesn't sound like much, but I just don't have the ability to play that many tables of Omaha. 5 is my absolute maximum, and I'm most comfortable with 3 or 4.

So I've been working, giving piano lessons. I took another shot at 400PLO and won half a buy in. I got my money in twice, once as a 55% favourite in a $743 pot, and a 60% favourite in a $449 pot. I won the first and lost the second. I'm just out of my comfort zone playing 400PLO it's really swingy and you have to gambool a lot. There's a lot of LAGs who will stick it in with 40% probable equity and force you to make decisions. Then there's just the crazy bitches. Maybe I should allocate $2,000 of my winnings and just take proper, non-scared shot at it and see what happens. If I can get into the comfort zone, I think I have the skill to play 400PLO profitably.

Anyway: 8326 Hands now in April for $7861 profit
I've cooled off a bit, as expected. I mean the 43BB/100 over my first 2000 hands was not going to last forever. But I'm playing well, and I've made few retarded plays and I can only attribute one buyin to tilt.

I've got 2 more days of uni break and then I'll be quite busy again. I should definitely get to 10,000 hands, but then I think I'll be slowing down when uni resumes.

On Mondays I have uni from 10:00 - 6:00 and then I have dance training and I'd get back home at about 8:30. Dinner, shower and a couple of hours to play poker. Tuesday is poker day. Wednesday is similar to Monday except I probably won't be dancing. Thursday I have classes at 2:15-4:15 but the poker world is dead (sleeping) at that time anyway, so no big deal. And Fridays is another day set out for poker.

If I can get my university work under control (i.e. do it all in the time between classes on Monday and Wednesday which should be 3-4 hours a week) I should still be able to play at 70% capacity. Problem is it's one of the only times I have to catch up with friends and I'm constantly having lunch with girls (not really complaining here, but we have to compromise girls with poker and dancing and study). Good thing I'm underloading this semester, doing 3 subjects instead of 4. I haven't really decided what kind of priority I'm going to give to poker and study. Poker is more gratifying and profitable, and I don't really think it makes a difference what kind of results I get in my studies (I know I wouldn't fail even with zero study). It just feels so wrong to put poker in front of study.

Please tell me what you think! I really appreciate any posts in my thread, even if it's just to say hello.
