Operation- Beat SNG's to 1k$

Hi everybody!
I'm startin an operation thread after I lost all most all of my roll(about 300$ only) playing drunk.. My goal is to get to 1000$ be4 2010 playing SNG's at first because of the ridiculous rake at stars and maybe add cashgames later on.

So im gonna update my progress and post some HHs here and hope some of u more experienced players could comment. unfortunately im not using trackin software atm cos my pt trial ended and dont think im gonna buy the full version until i get a bigger bankroll.

Anyways I was playin drunk last week and played 3 tables of nl100 with my whole br and was left with 16$...lame! I started playing again on Friday and decided to build my bankroll and not go busto again.
I grinded the 1.2$ 1-5 table sngs for a while during the weekend and got my bankroll up to 57$ again. Im gonna move 2 the 3.4$ ones already when i reach 68$ because I think I can beat them easily.. so thats it for now, im gonna try 2 update this 1-2 per week maybe more if ppl actually read this

For your tracking software problem you might wanna try Realtime HUD. It is free and compatible with PT. It is only a HUD, none of the other goodies of poker tracker. I haven't used it, but a bunch of 2p2'ers have.

Thx for telling me about realtime!! My session is startin pretty well because i also got 10$ for placing 43rd in sng leaderboard on stars..

Install the new build (5 I think that was released very recently?) and you should get another 60 days.

So havent updated for a week but ive been having trouble with Pokerstars saving my handhistories etc. so i've only got a couple of interesting hands stored, gonna try to find the rest.

I took a shot at the 3$ sngs on stars after my last post, didnt go so well so i decided to grind the 1$ ones until i had bout 80$. I then moved up and played multitable 3$ sngs until my bankroll was at 135$.. Then I had sick run and first didnt cash for like 6 sngs then won 1 and didnt cash for another 9 because of bad beats, tilt and all that crap... Poker sucks sometimes.
I was so frustrated with sngs at that point that i decided to play nl5(even though this operation was supposed to be about sngs at first). So i played 6 tables of full ring nl5 and ran pretty good so now my br is at 151$ and im either gonna start playing 5$ sngs or continue with nl5.

Do you actually like cash games or tournaments because you only need like $60 to be effective @ $2NL and the rake is just as bad if not worse for SNG's.

I just started $50NL, but I often wonder how many people I bust like that because they put their short bankroll on the line.
