    Default Operation Don't Suck

Forget my old Operation thread: it sucked. To sum up, I went from about $100 to $2900 in under 3 months. Took about 70k hands.

    In the last 5 weeks I've gone from that $2900ish high mark down to about $2200 and back up to $2900... EIGHT times. 2200 > 2900 > 2200 > 2900 > 2200 etc etc.

I lose at hold 'em, and make it back by taking shots at limits im not rolled for and at 2/4 and 3/6 stud, which for some odd reason I beat well despite not really knowing how to play. Then I lose it at hold 'em again, and repeat the process. Obviously I'm not going to be able to do this forever: so I'm going back to 50nl 6max and going to try that out for a sample instead of getting murdered at 100nl FR like I've been: 11 buyin downswing in about 5k hands. Yeah.

    March has been awesome.

Time to get back on track.

Bubbled a $10+1 180 man losing some flip.

Also played in the $3 rebuy, used 6 plus an add-on, was down to 1.5 BBs after losing an 80/20, flopped a straight next hand, somehow lasted through another thousand people to bust in the low 200s for a whopping $31 or so, with 99 in the BB vs JJ and AA.

    Played only 85 hands of 50nl 6max, -$6. Whatever.

Had a couple beers and while I was folding through the beginnings of those two donkaments decided to take a shot:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG ($404)
    UTG+1 ($722.45)
    MP1 ($80)
    MP2 ($398.70)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, K.
4 folds, MP3 calls $4, CO calls $4, Button raises to $20, 1 fold, Hero raises to $66, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls $46.

    Flop: ($142) 2, T, 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $76, Hero raises to $276, Button calls $136.30 (All-In).

I'm gonna try really, really hard to not to do that again.

Today started off very poorly. Did the $3 rebuy and used 14 rebuys plus an add on, and still had a 5000 stack after rebuy hour: I didn't win a single all in. Needless to say, busted.

Did a $10+1 180 man, bubbled that one.

Then it was time for my first ever Sunday Million. I had won a few 5400 fpp satellites before this but I sold the T$. This time I decided to play it, and the $1.5M guarantee was dwarfed: $2.1M prize pool, over 10,500 entrants. Got pretty much no cards ever, hit a nice 3 outer AI PF AKs > KK and 99 at around 200/400 to triple up. Hung around after that, doubled up twice more (one flip, one dominated pair over pair), and eventually busted out at 1035th for a payout of $420.

Then did a $50NL 6max session, finished out with 1250 hands and was up 2 buyins running at 21/12/1.8, a little loose passive for 6max but it's a transition from full ring.

Had a good day, but I've had several of these. Let's see if I can not sink like a stone tomorrow.

I've managed to almost break through the $3k make sooo many times now that's it starting to get unfunny.

I'm whoring my way past it once and for all ths month; but I do think grand three is sooo much tougher than two and only a little easier than one.

    gl!
    Blah blah Op Blah blah

No donkaments today, actually kind of a light day poker wise.

    Only 585 hands of 50nl 6max, 20/13/1.6 (still), +$3.
    340 hands of 100nl Full Ring, ran 17/8/2.1, +$87.

Finally broke through the barrier, time for a new one so I can play 200nl with an actual roll.

Played a 7 card stud HU tourney, 9 players, took 4 hours. I wanted to stab my eyes out at the end of the FIRST table. Awful. I purposely lost the final HU game after doing quite well, being up 2:1 in chips, then having the opp (very nice person) continually fold, then start drawing better cards. Came in 2nd, good, but $45 payout after the $22 buyin wasn't quite what I wanted out of about 4 hours.

    Played 350 hands of 100nl, -0.55. Awesome.

For the most part I've been playing 200nl underrolled because 100nl kicks my ass hard -- I get in good and lose over and over again. Seems to be the perfect mix of nits, people with a clue, gamboolers and retards to continually frustrate me.

PT I think has corrupted? because there are several hands from my last few sessions that didn't import despite saying they did. So it's not 100% accurate, does it usually do this at a significant number of hands? (I have 80k+)

After swinging back and forth pretty good from 3200-3800 for the last week I fired up some tables and had a good session, +3 stacks almost in 700 hands, granted I was hitting the deck really good for once. Here's the big hands:
